A Conversation Without Words featuring Timothy Kantor, Laura Casarez, Emily Chao and Juan Mejia
These superb musicians, share technique and expression through the medium of the string quartet. It is a four-part dialogue where the violins, viola and cello have something to say individually and collectively – “speaking” and listening in the language of music – an art form that has become the preferred vehicle through which composers since the 17th century have honed and displayed their skills.
The final program will be announced soon, but you can be sure that Franz Joseph “Papa” Haydn -known as the father of the string quartet, will be on the menu.
NOTE: Tickets are $40 at the door on the day of the concert if seats remain available.
